Slovenia USAlumni is the U.S. Embassy Ljubljana’s umbrella alumni network.

The U.S. Embassy in Slovenia sponsors various exchange programs in conjunction with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). People-to-people exchanges enhance mutual understanding between the people of the U.S. and other nations. Several hundreds of Slovenians have been on exchanges in the 80 years since the US International Exchanges program began in 1940. This year USAlumni is celebrating 55 years since the Fulbright with Slovenians began in 1965. Several hundreds of Slovenians have been on the Fulbright program since then.
