In the summer months of July and August, the University of Graz offers exciting summer internships for high school students in different areas of the university. On this note, the Center for Inter-American Studies welcomed Helena Knopf as the summer intern during the month of July. Down below, you will find a brief note from Helena on her experience at the C.IAS.

In February 2021 I applied for a summer job at the University of Graz, not really knowing what awaited me. I actually just wanted to collect some first work experiences, but I didn’t expect my four weeks of working to be so exciting, instructive and especially funny. During my time at C.IAS I did not only learn a lot and got to know the University better, I also met so many wonderful new people! I want to say Thank You to the whole squad for giving me the opportunity to be part of such an amazing team and hopefully we’ll see each other again!
