Conference: C’era una volta l’America

C.IAS partnered with Ca' Foscari University of Venice's Department of Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies in organizing the international and multilingual Inter-American Studies conference "C’era una volta l’America / Érase una vez América / Once upon a time there was America / Era uma vez a América" held from 20-21 September 2022. The Center for Inter-American Studies was represented by Director Roberta Maierhofer, Christian Cwik, and Nicole Haring. Roberta Maierhofer presented a paper on "Changes of Perspectives: Voices of Inter-American Collaboration” and Christian Cwik's presentations was entitled: "From Pan-Americanism to Inter-Americanism (1889-1948)”.
