Coronavirus "Traffic Light" at Graz University

Entry regulations for students

Dear students,

first of all, a warm welcome at the start of term to all, especially to our new students. We hope that you will spend an interesting, productive, and last but not least enjoyable time in Graz.

Due to the current pandemic it will, however, not be an ordinary start of term, although the University of Graz is working hard in order to resume with face-to-face teaching. A so-called coronavirus "traffic light" system shall help to make campus life as safe as possible. It is centered around the idea of alerting in four different colors: green, yellow, orange, and red.

In addition, the Austrian Government has implemented immigration measures. While most students can enter Austria without any restrictions, the administration of Graz University has informed us that students arriving from certain countries have to show proof of a negative PCR test result taken less than 72 hours before your entry. A list of these countries and FAQs can be found under the links below.

Wishing you all the very best for this special winter term.

Take care :-D
