Fulbright Senior Specialist am C.IAS

Prof. Margaret Cruikshank, Ph.D.

We are happy to announce that professor emeritus and aging studies scholar Margaret Cruikshank is a guest professor at the Center for Inter-American Studies in October and November. Her stay as a Senior Specialist is supported by the Fulbright Commission as well as the Center for Inter-American Studies.

As founding member of the European Network in Aging Studies, we are pleased that Prof. Cruikshank will enrich our teaching in the field of Aging Studies during her stay in Graz. Her special approach to Narrative Gerontology will not only enhance the experience of the students, but also the colleagues working with her. We are further delighted that she will share her knowledge of multicultural literature with Graz students, spanning the bridge from Africa to the Americas.

Prof. Cruikshank can be reached through the Center for Inter-American Studies and would be happy about professional contract at the University of Graz and beyond.
