U.S. Election 2024 (Workshop) at the Stadtbibliothek Graz

Dive into the American electoral system and ask your questions about everything related to the U.S. elections!

Are you curious about how U.S. elections work? And confused about what the electoral college, a swing state, or a caucus even is? Please join Elizabeth Martin-Shukrun, Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy Vienna, to dive into the American electoral system and to ask your questions about everything related to the U.S. elections.

The workshop will be held by Elizabeth Martin-Shukrun.
Elizabeth Martin-Shukrun became the Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy to Austria in July 2023.  Elizabeth most recently served as Cultural Affairs Officer at U.S. Embassy Paris (2019-2022). Prior to that, she served in positions in Europe, Latin America, and Washington, DC, including as Spokesperson at U.S. Embassy Bogota; Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Mission to the European Union; and Desk Officer covering France, the Vatican, and Monaco, after starting her career in Israel. Elizabeth holds a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College. She speaks German, French, and Spanish.
