Post doc researcher Dr. Nicole Haring has published a chapter in the the monograph Words, Music and Propaganda.
The papers discuss the ways in which music can be used as a tool to strengthen national identity both in times of peace and in times of war. The monograph, published by the prestigious English publishing house Cambridge Scholars Publishing, offers, among other things, an insight into songs about the current Russian war in Ukraine and the recent democratic movement in Belarus, as well as the ideology of folk music and evangelical Christian music from the United States.
