Marjorie Agosín is a Chilean-American writer. She has gained notability for her outspokenness for women's rights in Chile. The United Nations has honored her for her work on human rights. The Chilean government awarded her with the Gabriela Mistral Medal of Honor for Life Achievement in 2000. Samuel Shatz has worked as a teacher, researcher and entrepreneur, before committing exclusively to photography. He later presided over Foto Cine Club de Chile from 1994 to 1996. He has been award numerous photography awards and titles, and has exhibited in more than 17 individual shows and more than 30 group exhibitions internationally.
