Please join Elizabeth Martin-Shukrun, Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy Vienna, to dive into the American electoral system and to ask your questions about everything related to the U.S. elections.

Elizabeth Martin-Shukrun became the Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy to Austria in July 2023. Elizabeth most recently served as Cultural Affairs Officer at U.S. Embassy Paris (2019-2022). Prior to that, she served in positions in Europe, Latin America, and Washington, DC, including as Spokesperson at U.S. Embassy Bogota; Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Mission to the European Union; and Desk Officer covering France, the Vatican, and Monaco, after starting her career in Israel. Elizabeth holds a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College. She speaks German, French, and Spanish.
