Yumin Zhang is a Researcher and assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Culture Communications at Zhongnan University of Economics of Law. She received her PhD in American studies from Humboldt University of Berlin. Her fields of interest include comparative literature and culture (Chinese, American and German) and gender poetics. She is the author of the monography Masculini-ties in Transcultural Spaces— Negotiating of Masculinities in Ang Lee’s Films (2017) and the edited collection Creative Writing Course (2022).
