Mission Statement

On August 18, 2011 the Rectorate of the University of Graz enacted the founding of the Center for Society, Science and Communication, which encompasses the Center for Inter-American Studies. The center is an interdisciplinary institution spanning across all six faculties of the University of Graz.

 

The founding document was publicized in the Mitteilungungsblatt of the University of Graz (Nr. 136, 2010/11, 47.a) on August 24, 2011 and can be viewed here. Page 6 outlines the goals and tasks of C.IAS.
